History

HIStory

Mui Ne is a charming coastal town located in Binh Thuan Province. Known as the country’s capital for the famous dragon fruit and fish sauce or “nuoc mam”, it has likewise gained a reputation as one of the Viet Nam’s tropical beach destinations with blue skies and clear waters the whole year round.

Mui Ne literally means “sheltered peninsula”, and rightfully so as it is used as a seasonal harbor by the town’s fishermen.
Similar to Quy Nhon, Mui Ne was once occupied by the Cham Dynasty, and this is made evident with the many Cham Towers still standing tall.
